“Senatorial Cities! The Big Revenue”
The governor of Cross River State Prof. Ben Ayade is at it again. This time around the state government has concluded plans to develop new tourism cities in the three senatorial districts as part of efforts to improve the revenue profile of the state.
The helms man of the New Cities Development George Ekpungu disclosed this in Calabar during a meeting with Community Relations Officers from the 18 local government areas of the state.
“ Building on high tech facilities”
The new cities, which would be built with latest and high tech facilities, would attract more tourists into the state for business, leisure and rejuvenation.
“What a name in a city”
From the proposed arrangement, Calasvegas city will be built in the Southern Senatorial District, Centicot in the Central Senatorial District and Nostradam in the Northern Senatorial District of the state.
The date for the take-off of the new cities, would soon be announced by Prof. Ben Ayade for the groundbreaking ceremony.
